Spring has sprung...let's Hop It!

Well folks, spring is most definitely in the air. 

The studio doors have been open these last few days, as the sun has beamed down (no longer the need to keep Jack Frost closed out). 

The lower floor has been tickled with some cheery decorations, as the majority of East Riding schools have now broken off for a fortnight and we prepare to experience our very first Easter school holiday at Saramique Studio. 

The weekends have been busy upstairs as always, with some lovely and lively celebrations since the last school break - leaving dos, baby showers and a few hen parties for grown ups, alongside lots of special birthday parties for younger guests. Now however, the Event Room and Party Room have been transformed and we are ready to host our kids' Hop It! Easter events. 

Since we first began hosting studio led events in Summer '16, they've have become really popular...in fact we have had parents asking about these since that crazy fast, sell out of our 3 half term Monsters & Fairies events! 

Fitting around other celebrations over the holiday break, we have managed to squeeze 7 seperate dates in the diary for the Hop It! Kids events. 3 dates are now full and the spaces are filling nicely for the remaining dates...that's an awful lot of Easter Bunny pots! (nearly 100!). Talking of which; we took delivery of these lovely bunnies a few weeks ago and they have been patiently laying in wait for their new owners to come claim and create! 

The event has much to keep the young attendees entertained for the afternoon. They will be painting their Easter Bunny pot, decorating their own cupcake with sweets and chocolates, spinning their own candyfloss, and as a surprise we have added to the fun decorations with an 'Easter selfie' area...complete with props for the kids to have some giggles with their snaps! 

So, crammed with seasonal fun and treats at really exceptional value, these events are sure to be a delightfully different way to enjoy an afternoon together this school holiday.

If you are a grown up who is looking for a little child free time this Easter break, then fear not! We have you in mind too. Our next Pots Paints & Pashminas evening (in a nutshell...an all inclusive pottery painting evening for over 18s, in a lovely atmosphere of great giggles and relaxation. Bring your own tipple along if you aren't driving - we provide the nibbles!). Customers often wonder 'why the pashminas element?' Well, we always have a lovely, cozy selection of pashminas, waiting near our private rear courtyard for those who want a little al fresco refreshment, but may need to keep the Great British chill at bay. 

It's certainly worth a mention that events and parties here during opening hours take place upstairs. Our LOWER FLOOR STUDIO IS ALWAYS available for pre bookings and walk in painting customers. Never assume we will be unable to squeeze you in just because you like to be spontaneous and take each day as it comes. If today is the day you decide you want to spend some quality time together, being creative, then drop by or give us a quick call. We always try our very best to fit everyone in and if not, we can always talk to you about reserving a table another time. 

So...our team are ready for the holidays and really looking forward to greeting our Easter time customers, as well as seeing what wonderful spring creations may be sprung!
