Canvass art...ceramic style!

Regular visitors know that we change your pot choices frequently. We keep what we would consider to be popular core products on our shelves but we like to keep you on your creative toes with a lots of choice...from the quirky to the fun to the practical! The hardest part of your experience here with us by far, is the choosing!

It's no surprise then that we were super excited to take delivery of our new large 'canvass' ceramic by Duncan. 

Let's play!

Demonstration pots are a great way to show you what can be done, but are by no means a 'must be done'. We try and paint a varied number of pieces in different ways using a number of techniques...that way, even if it's not the pot you have chosen, there may be something in the design that is useful to you when looking for inspiration! 

It's no surprise then that we could not wait to get our hands on this versatile new pot, and have a little play around with ideas. The school holidays may be drawing to a close but it is still Summer for now and so we decided to be bold and opt for bright colours and stark contrasts. 

The techniques used here are simple ones and can be transferred to any number of designs...should palm trees not be your thing! 

So versatile! 

The best thing about this pot is that it is literally a blank canvass! There is no limit to its uses and what could be painted using this great sized ceramic. A great one for family hand and foot prints, for gifts, for unique art to hang in your home...anything goes!
