Key to the door...

Unbelievably, it is a year ago today that the keys to the door of this beautiful old building were collected. 

A whole mixture of emotion came with that bunch of keys; the weight of responsibility, the heady excitement of dreams realised, the relief of having got that far and the nervousness of taking that next step forward. 

Work began on just about every nook and crevice. Plans, ideas, sketches...months of imaginings, transforming and making their way from paper to reality. Long days and longer nights, helped along by bucket loads of nervous energy! (Oh...and candyfloss)

It would be 78 days later that the doors swung open and Saramique Studio welcomed the very first customers...(to be continued)
